Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce Opens Nominations for 2026 Best of Pasco Awards
Pasco County, FL — The Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Best of Pasco Awards, celebrating outstanding businesses, organizations, and professionals and community leaders who make a meaningful impact across Pasco County.
Now in its second year of public nominations, the Chamber invites the entire community to participate in recognizing those who go above and beyond to strengthen the local economy and enrich the quality of life in Pasco County. Last year’s program generated significant engagement, with more than 400 nominations submitted across a wide range of categories.
Winners will be selected by a Chamber committee. While Chamber membership will be taken into consideration, nominees will primarily be evaluated based on how well they meet the specific criteria outlined within each award category. These qualifications will guide the selection of finalists and ultimately determine this year’s winners.
Finalists will be announced in advance of the event and promoted through regional media outlets. Winners will be revealed live during Best of Pasco Awards & Board Installation Celebration, which is expected to host more than 250 community and business leaders.
This year’s theme, “Postcards from Pasco,” offers a nostalgic nod to the retro, classic Florida era—when postcards served as iconic visual snapshots capturing the unique charm, culture, and character of local communities. The event will celebrate not only excellence in business and service, but also the vibrant identity that makes Pasco County a special place to live, work, and visit.
The awards celebration will take place on Thursday, July 16th at Heritage Springs Country Club and open to the public.

- Eminent Pioneer of the Year: Jim and Annette Smetzer
- Citizen of the Year: Lisa Campos
- Public Servant of the Year: James Mallo
- Ambassador of the Year: Bianca Micklow
- Young Professional of the Year: James Bailey
