Speaker: Stephanie Pontlitz, Youth And Family Alternatives
The Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce will be collecting donations for the YFA RAP House at our Wake Up Greater Pasco Breakfast on Friday, December 20th.
The goal of Youth and Family Alternatives (”YFA”) is to help families ensure a healthy and safe environment in which to flourish... a nurturing, supportive environment free of drugs and alcohol abuse, free from physical emotional and sexual abuse.
As one of the area’s leading providers of social services to children and families, we are dedicated to strengthening the family throughout our many programs.
In every task we perform, the professional and support staff at YFA realize that for our children to be the hope of tomorrow, they must be given the help they need today.
WHAT WE BELIEVE.... CHILDREN ARE OUR MOST PRECIOUS RESOURCE
YFA serves nine counties in West Central Florida providing runaway and youth crisis services, community based care foster care and adoptions and prevention services.
RAP House is a shelter that provides safe haven to youth experiencing abuse/neglect, homelessness, at-risk behaviors such as running away, youth who may be ungovernable at home or school, truancy, and youth in foster care who have experienced disruption in their foster placement.
