Join us to celebrate the unveiling of "Tranquility Gardens" at Pasco Kids First in New Port Richey!
Here is a note from our Friends at Pasco Kids First:
Recently, Pasco Kids First was selected to have an outdoor space transformed from a sparce dirt area of old palm trees into a beautiful garden outfitted with a rock walk, bench seating, and a water feature.
This transformation was beyond anything our child advocacy center could have hoped to receive. It wasn't just creating a beautiful new outdoor space, but a new therapeutic space for our staff to relax and have some self-care as they can often experience vicarious or secondary trauma working with abused children and adolescents; to being a place where our clients can also safely receive therapeutic treatment in a beautiful outdoor setting as an alternative to their trauma therapist's office. Lastly, it also provides a space for family members and caretakers to wait while clients receive services.
We could not be more thankful for the many ways this transformed outdoor area will impact the agency and so many others to whom we provide services.
The following GPCC Members are amongst the many volunteer companies from the Professionals of Landscaping who came together as a community to make this project possible:
