Raising Cane, A Sweet & Spicy Event

This is a cane syrup & chili cook off event. We are sanctioned by the International Chili Society and will have professional chili teams competing. We will also have a local chili challenge that anyone can enter. This would be red chili, white chili or salsa. Free to enter. The museum will sell tasting cups for $5 for ten tastes. You can buy as many taste as you want. Then you will vote on your favorite local & professionals People's Choice. Vendors galore that also include food trucks. Museum buildings will be open with docents, live music with The Hummingbirds & Cadillac Cowboys. Hot pepper challenge. Meet our mascot Chili Pepper. We also make cane syrup that day and have tasting/voting on your favorites.
