DESCRIPTION:The 2020 NAMI Pasco Heroes of Hope Awards Gala celebrates and honors those in our community who have gone out of their way to help us fulfill our mission by providing support\, advocacy\, outreach\, and/or education to those with mental health conditions and those who love them. The gala will feature dinner\, entertainment\, a silent auction\, special announcements\, networking\, and lots of fun.\n\nCocktail or Superhero attire welcomed. Superhero costumes are highly encouraged\, but not required. Those wearing one at entry will be given a ticket for a chance to win a fabulous prize.\n\nProceeds from sponsorship and ticket sales will go directly to support free programs and services that further our mission. These proceeds will go towards peer-led education and support programs to help people affected by mental illness get support and resources to better navigate the mental health system\, as well as community education and outreach to reduce stigma and help the general public better understand mental illness.
