The Tampa Bay Regional Resiliency Coalition is hosting the Resilience Leadership Summit next month, on January 7-8, 2020. The summit will feature discussion of the following topics: Financing Resilience, Pre-Disaster Mitigation, Disaster Recovery, Adaptation, Risk Reduction, and Clean Energy.
The purpose of this event is to help the public and private sectors in the Bay area define a plan to handle the economic, social, and environmental changes that will face Tampa Bay in the next 5-10 years.
The event will double as an opportunity for Pasco business leaders to network and share details of their enterprises with influential leaders. Speakers who have confirmed they will be attending the summit include Julia Nesheiwat, the Chief Resilience Officer for Gov. Ron DeSantis; Sean Sullivan, Executive Director of the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council; U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist; and State Rep. Ben Diamond. A number of local leaders in the counties making up the Tampa Bay region will also be in attendance.
