Gulfside Hospice is inviting everyone to be a hero for hospice this October at their first-ever virtual Halloween party. “Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, from caped comic book stars to everyday heroes supporting our community,” said Leesa Fryer, Fundraising & Event Planning Specialist for Gulfside. “This new event, Be A Hero: A Virtual Halloween Party, will be a fun night where everyone gets a chance to be a hero and help us celebrate our hospice heroes.” The virtual event is planned for Friday, Oct. 30 from 6:30 – 7:30 pm over Zoom. Tickets to the virtual event are $10 per person, and include a door prize entry. Anyone who registers by Oct. 16 will receive two door prize entries. The hour-long event will include a virtual costume contest, trivia, prizes and entertainment, in addition to the opportunity to become a hero for Gulfside Hospice, whose everyday healthcare heroes bring compassionate care to hospice patients and their families. For more information and tickets for the virtual fundraiser, visit GulfsideHeroes.org or contact Fryer at 727-845-5707 or leesa.fryer@gulfside.org. All proceeds raised from the event will provide patient care and bereavement support in Pasco County through Gulfside Hospice, a business line of Gulfside Healthcare Services.
