Celebration of Lights Winter Wonderland@ The Concourse

The popular Celebration of Lights event will twinkle and shine at The Concourse to the delight of children and families in the Tampa Bay area on Friday and Saturday nights December 6&7, 13&14, and 20&21 from 6PM to 10PM. In addition to the magnificent drive-through Christmas light display, this year will feature Wilderness Wonderland activities at The Concourse Rotary Pavilion with Santa Claus, carnival games, bounce houses, inflatable slides, music and a new special activity for kids each weekend. Gather your friends and join the festivities for just $10 per carload. Board the miniature Holiday Train for a lighted ride on a brand-new section of track past the gingerbread house and other seasonal decorations for an additional fee of $6.00 each. Food for purchase will be provided by The Kiwanis Club of Pasco/Hernando. Check Facebook for updates on weekend activities. This community event was founded by Dave Parris, who passed away in 2015. He modeled this light show after one in his hometown, with hopes young families would create memories and someday bring their grandchildren. The 2019 Celebration of Lights is produced by The Concourse in partnership with Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources, the Grand Concourse Railroad club, West Pasco Sertoma and Friends of Dave Parris, for the enjoyment and benefit of the community. The Concourse is located at 11919 Alric Pottberg Road, just 1/3 of a mile west of the Suncoast Parkway on Hwy 52 in Pasco County. Other festive activities at The Concourse include the daytime Holiday Train. Enjoy unlimited rides on the miniature train through the decorated village for $6 per person, with Santa, vendors and family fun. Hours are 10AM to 4PM Nov 30, Dec 1, 8,14,15, 21, and 22.
